have no idea...It was basically a mistake, but I got to tag all my contacts...If you do indeed accept the invite and give them your mail password, I STRONGLY recommend that you change your password, unless you want the same fate as Michael Rasmussen and have your e-mail "hacked"...
I signed up thinking Kim thought I'd like the place.. The ads flashing made me a bit reluctant, but I decided I'd try it out anyway.. Now that I know it wasn't on purpose, I'm never coming back there.. Looks like shit..
It was a BIG MISTAKE...My ears are flashing SO RED that the planes are begining to land around here...I sent the invite to my entire list of contacts, which is extensive and includes some rather big names...I've decided to try to ignore my mistake, and I hope that you, my good friends will help spread the word...
Well.. No worries about the invite.. I'm just wondering if this place is something you use? And what do you use it for..? Is it a myspace-/facebook-thing?
No way am I going to use it, I hate things like that. But I did it because I got the invite from a long lost friend in Egypt, it felt right, and I didn't understand the consequences since it included some mailinglists!
you don't know sh.., It looks cool, but there's much too much of all that stuff around, and nobody there is interesting (what is that with all those bi and gay women there anyway?) - so I won't do it.
I forgive you. The fault is on - what's the name again - because they lure you into inviting all your (hitherto) "friends" - by not letting you really decide, unless of course you simply stop short of providing pwds to sites...
no big deal.
but it stil has a good deal of "web2.0" visual design kewlness to it, which is - fortunately? - lacking so many other places.
:-S its just CSS and flash.. alot of folks just became aware of something called whitespace and layout.. Im quit sure I can break all of those rules listed in that link, and people would still called "web 2.0 design".
Still feeling the afterquakes from this ;-) - it seems most people didn't take the bait, but I've actually hooked up with someone I had missed dearly, now I hope she'll actually show up
Jaiku makes it easy, ALL your old Jaikus are persisted, and I remembered when it happened in time - google is SO last years - but I'd love Jaiku to add a local search function - I'm sure it's comming...

Gunnar @ theres no "web 2.0 visual design"
1 year, 11 months ago by EsbenThomsen
I was afraid of that too, but spam has never gotten me down before.. Trust me, it won't start now..
1 year, 11 months ago by Wendelboe
I see a bit of "2.0" in there, but not enough to cover the fact that they have no interesting content..
1 year, 11 months ago by Wendelboe
Well then i have to ask! What's web 2.0 design?
1 year, 11 months ago by EsbenThomsen
There's definitely a "web 2.0" visual design guide.

When people say web 2.0 design the mean: Gloss, beta signs, sans serif, few placeholders, transparent images and gradiant..
And btw i DID, even though its not finished yet
